Events Committee Update

The Events Committee is off
to a strong start this year following our early‑March planning session. The
team made major progress organizing the 2026 event lineup and is gearing up for
our first event of the year: the CWU Dinner & Speaker Series in
Ellensburg (date TBD).
The committee also identified
two new engagement priorities:
- Supporting
UW Student Chapter Activities
We’ll begin amplifying student‑led events to strengthen connections with
emerging water professionals.
- Launching
a Career Spotlight Social Series
A new informal networking series featuring water professionals sharing
career journeys and lessons learned. Tom Ring will kick off the
series with a two‑part session on career evolution and embracing
opportunities beyond the job description.
Members interested in being
featured in a future spotlight, or in contributing new event ideas, are
encouraged to provide suggestions by reaching out to the
committee (see Contact page for contact information).
