How long have you been a member of AWRA? About 7 years.

What is your current role and organization? I am a Senior Engineer at Annear Water Resources.

What inspired you to work in your field? Growing up in the Ganges plain in India, I was always enamored with water and its role in our life. I used to learn about environmental issues and raise them in the local newspapers (pre internet era), or participate in local clean up projects. As I continued with my engineering education in agriculture, my passion for water related topics grew.

What's a piece of professional advice you've received that you'd like to share? Never cease to learn. Even after 20 years in my field, I feel surprised to learn how much I do not know.

What's one goal you're determined to achieve in your lifetime? (Could be related to work or life outside of work.) Being able to answer affirmatively when I ask myself, "Did I do enough?"
