Speaker: Arden Thomas, Kittitas County Public Works
Bio/Abstract: Arden Thomas is Kittitas County’s Water Resource Program Manager, a role that integrates responsibilities to secure and protect water resource supplies for our community and address flood risks. In this role she advises on an array of policy issues, manages the County water bank portfolio, works to advance water supply options for county residents, and implements integrated floodplain management projects. This diverse range of job responsibilities compliments her varied career background, includes advancing salmon recovery and habitat restoration projects in western and central Washington, and working at the federal and non-profit level to improve water resource management given environmental needs.
